I have always thought that the good o' 'specky-auntie' Hokkien Mee has moved after the rexoncstruction of the hawker centre.
But I am delighted to have found it.
It had moved from the frontline stalls to the mid section of the hawker centre.
The couple who fries the noodle were still around.
Except that the lady who had the big plastic glasses had changed to sleek metallic frames. No wonder I cannot recognize her initially.
Its a makan place lost and found.
The fried hokkien mee comes in a thick tasty sauce, topped with fresh succulent shrimps.
As usual, I always insist that its fried by the lady boss. The price ranges from $2.50 onwards.
