Review: Spot Kitchen

I have earlier mentioned about doing a review of Spot Kitchen, a fast-food joint located admist my residential vicinity.
I have already visited it with my food scout buddy a couple of days back.
We had intended to use the coupons on the flyer (as shown in earlier scan)
In the end, the sales girl collected the whole flyer from us.
But then again, they had stacks of them at the counter for pick-up.
So who needs them anyway!?

We order 2 combo meals. MOO and Walking Burger Sets. Each set comes with a choice of the fountain drinks (Blackcurrent or Lime), a basket of fries and the burger.

The Walking Burger is a regular chicken patty sandwich with a slice of cheddar cheese and mayonnaise salad. The patty was quite oily and the bread content is low, making the bun very soft and fluffy (like that of confectionary buns). The meat taste normal and is just like regular frozen patty fried directly without thaw.Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The MOO Burger is similar except with a beef patty. We start to wonder where is the lettuce, which was clearly shown in the display?

The basket of fries seem like a small portion, but it sure filled us up despite the small burger.

Overall, I give Spot Kitchen a 6 out of 10. They could have done better. Nevertheless, I give them the benefit of the doubt, since it was almost closing time and we ordered discounted promo meals. I'm sure they would have served better food, if we had ordered regular main meals. I should still suggest going down there again to try their regular menu and giving another rate, but not so soon.
