Review: Uno Beef House

We have finally made it try out the beef steaks at Uno Beef House.
The Uno Beef House is a coffee shop located in the corner of a row of shops on the ground floor of the old Block 52.
It stands out from the rest of the shops and from all the upgrading work with a huge signboard.
Let's get on with the proper!

Immediately after ordering, we are served with garlic toasts and the cutlery. It is famous for its crazy queue. Hence, garlic toasts starters will suppress the overflowing stomach juices. I believe that the toasts were prepared in bulk earlier, but surprisingly, after sometime, they still retained the crisp.

I had a medium Black Pepper Beef Sirloin Steak - $8.
Served on a bull-shaped hotplate, the sauce was sizzling mad.
The meat was done right to my taste, done on the outside, bloody in the mid-section.
The right proportion of juicy tender-sweet meat and fat made it a good chew.
The black pepper gravy with the blood from the meat gave a tangy taste, which was different from neXus's.

neXus had medium done Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin Steak - $10
They have three steak meals, the last one is Black Pepper Beef Ribeye Steak - $9. Since neXus claimed that the walk here was a tough one, he shall have the most expensive one (something not very common from him).
The medium done steak had no blood in the core. But when chewed, the meat was right tender and juicy. The meat absorbed the black pepper taste and does not have the tangy taste as mine. There was also no fat in the huge slab of tenderloin, definitely the cut for the health conscious (not neXus though).

The side that made them famous is the fried mashed potato ball. So far, the one and only western food with such a potato side. To all, kantang lovers, nothing to cry about but something worth experiencing.

eee ... sorry, but the blood in your beef steak looks gruesome. Is it safe to eat undercooked meat?
