The new Tampines IKEA is situated on a huge plot of land. To get there, see here. One cannot miss the IKEA Tampines building when going on the TPE. It has already become a significant landmark of Tampines and Pasir Ris.
The Tampines IKEA is a 'must-visit' irregardless of whether you are planning to buy anything. It is an impressive MEGAMART, similar to that of COURTS Tampines (as posted earlier). This store reminded me a lot of the IKEA store that I visited back in Richmond, Melbourne.

Interior
The layout of the store is similar to that of the Alexander Road branch. The showrooms are situated on Level 4 while the 'pick-up' sections are on Level 3. The IKEA Tampines is indeed a warehouse/store. Level 2 and 1 are carparks.
The longest number of counters that I've seen in my life!
The usual hotdog and snack bar is jam-packed with shoppers taking a break before they leave.
FIXIN' MORKER
I bought myself a table lamp, MORKER, to help me get more light during my toy photography. It just cost me S$5.90 without a bulb. I will be getting a fluorescent bulb instead of IKEA's regular incandescent bulbs which are a bitch to WB.
