1/6th Outfits for Sgt. Becks

I had wanted to dress up my new Hot Toys TrueType Bronze 1/6th nude to bash a "Weapons Specialist", a universal military character who will pose,, introduce and review any new firearms accessories that I have or will eventually get. I also had the name in mind even before I bought the Hot Toys TrueType Bronze. I had wanted to call him "Sgt. Becks". So I visited HQS yesterday, hoping to find some decent and cheap clothes. For S$10 , I scored a soldier vest-slack set (yes... I used the familiar term which I will be hearing soon next week during reservist) by Dragon of t-shirt, camouflage slacks, sling pouch and boots . At the same price, I got a flight suit by BBI.

The best deal is definitely the soldier vest-slack set! With the clothings complete with boots and accessory pouch, I can't see why it is not? The t-shirt fits Sgt. Becks perfectly. But the slacks is tad too big and longer than the feet. The ends of the slacks has got internal draw string and fastening velcro straps, but it lacks real pockets and belt loops. I had to remove the feet from Becks, and stuff the excess material into the boots. The boots is able to hold itself when the stuffed. About the pouch, I have no clue how such a pouch is to be worn. Anyone would like to shed light upon how the pouch is to be worn? The pouch has got extendable straps and a working mini buckle around the 'waist strap'. Shown here, Sgt. Becks poses with FN P90 from assorted and MP5SD from COBRA.

Ever since I got my EKO COBRA by Medicom Toys, I grew fond of overalls. Hence, with an intention to look for a similar overall, I found the BBI flight suit. Though it is olive in colour, but it sure looks cool! The flight suit even had a realistic washing instructions. Putting an overall on can be tricky, but it shouldn't be difficult for me. I preferred Sarge to have the t-shirt from the above set as inner wear, rather than exposing some chest. The flight suit does not look too good when zipped up completely, unless I put a pilot helmet on him. The zip looks obviously out-of-scale. The ends of the flight suit can be easily tugged into the boots (also from the above set). Seeing Sgt. Becks dressed up in this attire, I can already vividly imagine the endless bashing possibilities from here. A good start will be a heavy accessory belt like those of a combat engineer. Shown below, Sgt. Becks poses with a Glock 17 and Steyr Aug mil.StG77 from COBRA.

Once again, I have added another post tagged "1/6th". With a spare change, does that mean I should get another nude to fit? Maybe a Hot Toys TrueType - Black? We shall see....
