FLASHBACK: A Vacation In Eastern Europe

While I am away for the week, lets look back at 24th October 2005.

Eastern Europe 2005

For the past 2 weeks plus, I have been away for my first Europe vacation. I was backpacking, hence going on a 'Bohemian-style' (heehee except with showers). I was in Eastern Europe. Not exactly covered a lot of countries, but 2 of them. They are Austria and Czech Republic. I visited Vienna and Salzburg in Austria followed by Prague in Czech Republic.

Vienna
is the capital city of Austria.
A visit to the Schonbrunn Palace and Hofburg Palace is a must to learn how the Hapsburg dynasty royalty lived their lives.

Salzburg is in Western Austria.
It is famous for it is the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Salzburg is a very lovely and romantic city which one can fall in love with it and vow never to forget.

Prague is the capital city of Czech Republic.
Czech Republic has a very rich and thick history. Dating from 600AD to present. The German occupation, followed by Soviet rule and the Communist rule as Czechoslovakia and eventually the liberation as a Republic after the infamous Velvet Revolution.
