Following the earlier post REVOLTECH MINIATURE [1/4]: EVA-01 (New Movie Version) and REVOLTECH MINIATURE [2/4]: EVA-00 (New Movie Version), I present to you Part 3, featuring REVOLTECH MINIATURE Positron Rifle (New Movie Version). The positron rifle is a unique and prominent addition to weaponry of EVANGELION 1:0 You Are (NOT) Alone. The Positron Rifle is available in the regular REVOLTECH as a box set, REVOLTECH EXTRA: POSITRON RIFLE & ESV SHIELD. However, in the MINIATURE version, the Positron Rifle is separated from the ESV Shield.

By definition: The positron is the anti-particle or the anti-matter counterpart of the electron. The positron has an electric charge of +1, a spin of 1/2, and the same mass as an electron. When a low-energy positron collides with a low-energy electron, annihilation occurs, resulting in the production of two gamma ray photons.
Today, positrons are routinely produced in positron emission tomography (PET) scanners used in hospitals and in accelerator physics laboratories used in electron-positron collider experiments.
In fiction: The positron has been adopted by many sci-fi related films or animations, particularly notable in Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny, where a huge Positron cannon is mounted on the Archangel, which is intended for destroying crafts and also defeated the Aile Strike Gundam piloted by Mu La Flaga. The Positron rifle is also adopted in Neon Genesis Evangelion, based on the ATHENA tests which destroyed countless Angels and EVANGELION 1:0.

The contents comes with the Positron Rifle in three separate parts (barrel, rifle core and tripod) and an EVA-01 (MINIATURE) left arm with pistol grip.
Left shows the swinging lock on the rifle grip, which allows the hand with pistol grip to be slided in.
Right shows the support handle.

The Positron Rifle is intended to be used on the tripod base in a prone position. However, have tried dismounting the main rifle and let EVA-01 (MINIATURE) take up the rifle in a standing shoulder firing position. It is not possible to lift it with the tripod base mounted though.
