CATS: "7.5 on Richter Scale"

The acts of nature are unpredictable,

such as an earthquake,

7.5 on the Richter scale.

During these times of disasters,

there are bound to be those who are....

Being Lonely

"Whenever there are natural disasters,

there are bound to be lonely people,

that includes the felines. "

Misha sits along the alley, waiting for her husband, Illo, to return to her.

Attention Seeker

"It wails for attention but there is just no one around.

Isn't there some one else who bothers to share some care and concern?"

Misha wails for someone, anyone, to help her, but everyone is fleeing for shelters.

No one had bothers to help her find Illo.

No one bothers to even bring her to a safe haven.

Eathquake Casualty

"The earthquake shook the ground up,

hundreds died, thousands injured,

no one was spared,

not even the felines."

Just round the corner of the alley,

piled rubble, like a wall, separated the alley into two sides.

There on the other side,

a cat lies there.

It's Illo!

Earthquake Casualty - in pain

"Be it physical or emotional,

there is bound to be pain."

Illo is wailing in pain from a fractured fore-limb,

is there no one to save him?

Is there no one to bring him across the rubble,

where a worried Misha awaits faithfully for her beloved's return?

Mother Nature can be cruel to us sometimes,

but most importantly, we must not do the same.

Show some care and love for them,

learn to feel for their pain.
