Synopsis
Shinji Ikari arrives in Tokyo-3, sent for by his father Gendo and is caught in the crossfire between the U.N. Army and an Angel, Sachiel. He was rescued by Lieutenant Colonel Misato Katsuragi, and brought to NERV Headquarters where Gendo is the Supreme Commander. Shinji then pilots Evangelion Unit-01 against Sachiel when its primary pilot, the mysterious Ayanami Rei became injured. After the initial fight, Shinji is taken in by Misato as her new housemate and enrolled in middle school.
This film portrays the storyline of episode 1 to 6 of the original animation series but underwent some rework with the incorporation of 3D CG. "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" is presently showing now at Cathay theatres at "Orchard Cineleisure" and "The Cathay". In conjunction with the release of this animation in Singapore, here are some links to the REVOLTECH figurines made after this animation movie.
