With the recent launch of the "EVANGELION 1.0" movie, fans of the original animation "Neon Genesis Evangelion" go crazy over the loads of merchandise following the movie. Back then during the era of the original animation, the quality of toys were inferior to the present. Hence, it is common to see fans of the older generation (like myself) who witnessed the success of this animation, to snap up any related toys related to "EVANGELION".
First, there was Ayanami Rei in white pilot outfit (FRAULEIN No.001), the dream girl of every Otaku! Then there was Asuka Langley in red pilot outfit (FRAULEIN No.003). Now Kaiyodo is giving us FRAULEIN No.008 Ayanami Rei in bandage. Any fan of Ayanami Rei would understand why we love her in her bandage.
