It is the time of the year for mooncakes again!
For a start, if you already know that I have been writing up on these seasonal sweet pastries for the past years. This is nothing new.
Every year, I will never fail to get the early bird deals from Goodwood Park Hotel.
Famed for their durian puffs, Goodwood Park Hotel has also had a similar reputation for their mooncakes.
Before we unravel the new flavour of 2010, let me just savour the limited 2010 flavour, Almond Beancurd with Longan in Snowskin.

The limited edition Almond Beancurd with Longan in snowskin is one huge mooncake, bigger than the regular sized baked mooncakes! It comes in a not to fancy plastic container instead of a gift box. This mooncake is sold only as a single piece.

As the name suggests, tastes almond beancurd and the same texture with generous longan chunks in it. Together with the taste of snowskin, it creates a whole new taste completely. It is an interesting mooncake to try for this year, but not a must-try.
