Battle of Wanton Mee

Between Ang Moh Wanton Mee (top) and Koka Wanton Mee (bottom), there can only be one winner!
Will it be the one that is graced by long queues all day long at Joo Chiat?
Or will it be the one that has no queue but serve only 2h pre-orders from 8pm onwards at North Bridge Road?

Ang Moh has good noodle texture and generous portions of petite peppery pork wantons.
Koka has same good noodle texture with additional shredded chicken and mushrooms to up its worth. The sauce and wanton is the likes of Pontian style, mixed with solefish. Not to forget the extra crunch from the chestnut bits.

The verdict is clear without dispute. Koka wins hands down!
Sorry no more money can buy you the wanton mee. No phone call pre-ordering as well. So you want the best, you got to go earlier to pre-order and return 2h later to collect. If you are lucky, you might be served earlier. At least at 8pm, there is no crowd in the quiet hawker centre.
